Research: "Tip O'Neill and The Waterfront Trails" 02/15/2011

Tip O'Neill
  • Member and Speaker of MA State Legislature (1947-1948, 1949-1952)
  • U.S. House of Representatives (1952-1977)
  • Speaker of House of Representative (1977-1987)
Tip O'Neill was born in Cambridge MA, in 1912 and died in 1994.  O'Neill was involved in politics since early on in his young adult life.  In 1952, O'Neill was elected to the House of Representatives where he remained through most of his political career until 1987.  Tip O'Neil has two novels, Man of the House and All Politics is Local.
